The Tryon River Trail loops approximately 2 kms and links the various historic sites and interprets the natural features of the area including meadows, small woods, fresh-water bog, and salt marshes. Native plants, shrubs and trees are labeled. The area is good for bird watching and the trail is a great place for geocaching. The trail can be accessed at #37 Route 10, at Tryon.
